Making Assets Available to Trade on Tacen Exchange

Users must first connect a wallet before being able to deposit assets into an Asset Custody Contract. ACCs are non-upgradeable smart contracts that only individual users have access to. This way users never need to fork over custody of their funds to the exchange. Your keys, your coins.

Once a wallet is connected, traders can deposit assets from the Assets page. Similarly to depositing on other exchanges, users will confirm the asset, amount, and wallet that the assets are coming from. Once the deposit is submitted, users will be notified that a deposit request has been submitted and will be notified when deposit is successful.

Once assets have been deposited to an ACC, their balance can be found under the column 'Available to Trade.' These assets have formally been locked in an ACC and can only be withdrawn when the user decides to unlock their assets and make them unavailable to trade.
